Kiawah Giving Month - Double Your Donation!

Kiawah honors National Giving Day the entire month of May! Our donors are the heart and soul of the programs we support. By making a gift during Kiawah Giving Month, you will support two initiatives in the local community helping students, seniors and families in need.

Thanks to generous grants and the success of the Kiawah Cup, our critical literacy goals for this summer have been met, allowing us to feature two other important efforts.

This month, Kiawah Cares Foundation is working to raise at least $35,000 to support:

(a)  Communities In Schools (CIS). Read how CIS programs make a differencehttp://www.kiawahcares.org/news-events/blog/announcement/communities-in-schools-helps-sea-island-students-succeed/

(b) Community Home Improvement Program (CHIP Ministry). See the conditions our neighbors live inhttp://www.kiawahcares.org/news-events/blog/announcement/chip-ministry-improves-conditions-for-island-seniors/

Your gift will help sponsor:

  • Providing alternative funding for the CIS student support specialists in two Sea Island public schools. These specialists advocate for high-risk students and address behavioral, developmental and emotional risk factors. Funding from the school district has been lost as they work to balance the school budget. The community must step in to fill the gap.
  • Funding significant home repairs through CHIP Ministry for six Sea Island seniors. This program addresses substandard living conditions among the most vulnerable on the Sea Islands.

Read more program details in our eblasts throughout giving month, and at www.kiawahcares.org.

We will send an acknowledgement card when you make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one.

DOUBLE YOUR DONATION!  This year, the Kiawah Cares Foundation will match funds dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000, making your investment go that much further.

We know you have many giving options, and are grateful that you have chosen to help our neighbors in the struggle against the effects of rural poverty.

Giving is easy with several options.  You can give now online by credit card or mail your check to KCF/KGM, 23 Beachwalker Drive, Kiawah Island, SC 29455. Coming soon - payment with your PayPal account!  Should fortune allow us to fully fund these feature programs, the remainder will be used for other KCF programs.
